오늘은 우리가 지금 겪고 있는 가장 큰 문제인 코로나 바이러스 상황에 관련한 뉴욕타임즈 기사를 읽어보았다. 특히, 내가 관련된 분야인 음악 분야에서는 가르치는 것, 배우는 것, 연주하는 것 이 모든 것들을 face to face로 진행할 수 없기에 많이들 어려움을 겪고 있다. 또한, 내가 지내던 샌프란시스코도 3월 중순부터 현재까지 계속 shut down된 상태로 아이들이 학교를 갈 수 없으니 학부모들과 학생들 모두 답답해한다. 음악을 페이스타임이나 줌 미팅을 통해서 가르치는 나도 가끔은 너무너무 아쉬운 레슨 퀄리티에 속상하다.
